Establishing an enduring model for New Zealand wool
Wool Alliance is a collaboration between Wool Impact, Campaign for Wool New Zealand, Wool Research Organisation of New Zealand, and Beef + Lamb New Zealand.
Our collaborative work continues but our goal to facilitate the establishment of a new industry entity for New Zealand Wool has now been achieved.
In August 2026, New Zealand Wool Collective was launched and we invite you to follow their progress as the future single voice for our sector.
Introducing…
New Zealand Wool Collective
New Zealand Wool Collective is a merger of two of the Wool Alliance partners, Wool Impact and Campaign for Wool New Zealand.
“After several years of working alongside one another, our two organisations have formally come together. Joining lets us go further than we could separately.
We are now one team, one work programme, and a single point of connection for anyone in the sector working with wool.”
Ross McIsaac, CEO, New Zealand Wool Collective
Four industry organisations working together to form New Zealand Wool Collective
The members of the Wool Alliance have signed a formal agreement to collaborate.
Our work will deliver an enduring wool industry organisation to increase returns to growers, rebuild demand for strong wool, and create a long-term strategy and structure to lead the wool sector into the future.
